KISS – Keep It Short and Simple! Coaching sessions in which the players are active require coaches to know in advance what they are going to say and how they are going to say it – the worst thing for players is to be standing, listening to the coach and being overwhelmed with information. Keep questions precise and to a minimum each time you stop the group and deliver no more than 2 key short and simple to understand coaching points at a time. That way the important things will be remembered by the players and acted upon!
