New Display Item~Each piece of Tacklesport software (ASD series, LTG Football, Fitness & Health for KS 3 and 4, OCM and OALM) is provided with a unique ID number and Activation code.

After installation you will be prompted to activate your software. Click Next to proceed to the next step.

If your PC is connected to the internet select Automatic On-line Activation. If you do not have access to the internet or you are having problems with On-line activation select Off-line Manual Activation.

Automatic On-line Activation
When you are ready click finish to connect to the internet. When prompted type in your Activation code and click Next. This is provided on the front of your license envelope and begins with 2 letters followed by 6 numbers and finishes with another letter e.g. HV466280D. Type this in as shown with no spaces and click next. Wait until the software has started before closing any windows as closing any windows too early may interupt the activation process.

Manual Off-line Activation
When you have selected Manual activation you will see a 20 digit Request Code in the centre of the screen underneath the Contact Information button. Make a note of this number and contact Tacklesport by Phone, Fax or Email (see Contact details). Please have you ID Number, Activation Code and Request code to hand when telephoning.

Tacklesport will provide you with a 20 digit Response Code. Click Next and type in this Response code when prompted. Click finish and the software will start. You will not need to use this number again.

Problems and Known Issues.

Interupted Activation - If you have attempted to activate your software over the Internet and either stop the process or change you mind and try Manual activation, you may be given a false Request code of 4 lines of 20 numbers. If this occurs you should close the activation windows and start again, selecting only Manual Activation to obtain a true 20 digit Request code.

Request code changed - If you sent your Request code by email there may be a short delay in receiving your Response code. If you have shut down your Activation or PC during this time your request code may have changed rendering the Response code you have received as invalid. This only happens rarely on some machines with XP when the operating software re-organises installed software to help it perform better. In this case the operating software may have moved the license file forcing to create a new number. If this happens please either obtain your Response code by telephone or leave you activation screens open (and PC on) until you have received your Response code.

Response code invalid - If you receive this error please check the following:

  1. Carefully re-type your Response code to ensure you have not made an input error
  2. Check that the Request code has not changed.
  3. Response codes are unique to software titles and will not work otherwise. Please ensure you have installed only the software you have purchased and that you are activating the correct software.

Re-activation - A manual Response code will only work once. If your license has become broken (see possible reasons) you will need to obtain a new code. Please do not attempt to use your original code again as it will not work. In a majority of cases Reactivation incurs an administration charge of £2.50 + VAT.~~~1819~1841~~
