Activation & Re-activation

The use of credits with Tacklesport software was introduced in 2002 and has resulted in a huge reduction in piracy, copying and illegal lending of our software. Click here to read about our software protection system.

Basic Information

  As with an increasing number of software titles, all Tacklesport software is licensed for use on a single PC. (Other examples include Microsoft Office, SEGA etc.). Please also refer to the Activation process as this is controlled by the number of credits on your ID or Account. Once you have installed and activated your software on your PC you should have many years of trouble free use.

Any attempt to copy, move or transfer the license (credit) installed on your PC will result in it becoming damaged or broken and will render your software unusable.

As you use the software it may become apparent that you need to access the program from an additional 1 or 2 PCs e.g. Home PC, Work PC and a Laptop.

In order to do this you may purchase an additional 2 credits, either at the time of the initial purchase or at a later date. (Discounts apply for credits purchased at the time of software purchase). The cost of an additional credit is £15.00 + VAT for a single credit or £22.50 for 2 (Maximum of 2)

There may come a time when you have to re-install your Tacklesport software. You might change your PC, need to re-install your operating system (e.g. because of a virus), or your license may have become damaged for some reason. Because your software is copy protected, and subject to licence, it is necessary to make a small administration charge of £5.00 + VAT for re-installation.

The most effective way of re-installing your software is to go through the Manual Activation process - generate a new 20 or 28 digit Request Code, purchase a reactivation code and include this request code and your original ID number in the additional information panel on the order page. We will send you a Response code by return. Alternatively contact Tacklesport. We will have you up and running again within 24 hours* (* week-ends excepted).
