London 2012 have announced the street route of the Olympic Torch Relay and confirmed the Torchbearers who will carry the flame. The relay kicks off in just under 2 months time starting at Land’s End and finishing 70 days later on Friday 27^th July at the Olympic Stadium. The route has been planned so that the torch will come within 10miles of 95% of people in the UK, Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey. The Torch was designed to feature 8,000 small cut-out circles to represent each of the 8,000 torchbearers who will carry the flame on its journey throughout the UK.
